Description
Aposelemis Beach is located 21 km east of Heraklion between the settlements of Kato Gouves and Analipsi. Aposelemis river flows into this beach and is an important wetland of northern Crete. At the area of this river, migratory birds and some rare animals can be found. At the mouth of this river, a beach is formed and has got sand and shallow waters. Aposelemis Beach is not well organized in comparison with the other beaches but it offers sunbeds and umbrellas.
