The Labyrinth Park is located on the 4th km of the Chersonissos - Kastelli road, close to Chersonissos village. It is a family destination on an area of 15 acres with interactive activities by having recreational and educational aims. Labyrinth Park has been designed by British architect Adrian Fisher, who is the world’s No. 1 maze designer and has designed and built over 600 mazes all over the world. At the same time, he has published many books about mazes which start with the myth of the Minotaur and the history of Crete.

The myth is as follows: The Minotaur was locked in the Labyrinth, at the palace of Minos, Crete. He had a human body and a bull’s head and tail. Every 9 years, seven young men and seven young women from Athens were sent to Crete to de devoured by the Minotaur. In this bloodthirsty tradition, Theseus killed Minotaur with the help of Ariadne, the daughter of Minos. Specifically, Ariadne gave him the clew and thus Theseus managed to find the way out of the Labyrinth.

This theme park is a fantasy labyrinth that moves between reality and fiction. In this highly fascinating park, the myth of the Greek hero Theseus and the devastating terrible Minotaur really comes alive in 1300 square meters. The Labyrinth is 3 dimensional with stairways, bridges, towers and rooms where young and old can travel to the myth and history of Crete trying to solve the puzzles in order to discover hidden places while the Minotaur is ready to scare them. The Labyrinth is designed and developed in modules and thus the system of the paths is changed regularly. It is suitable for wheelchair users and there is an emergency exit.

The main theme of the park is the Labyrinth (maze) but in this vast area of 15 acres one can enjoy a fantastic family experience with activities such as horse riding, archery and mini golf. For young visitors, there is a pottery workshop where they can try the art of the potter. There is also a quad track WRC where children can have fun with the electric quads being available.

For nature lovers, there is an Eco Garden with Cretan herbs, local fruits and vegetables and a mini farm where there are several animals such as rabbits, goats, horses, birds, peacocks etc. Lastly, there is also a café and a souvenir shop in the park area. During the winter months, the Labyrinth Park is open at the weekend.
