It is a single-nave, barrel vaulted church that used to be the Catholicon of an old Monastery, which used to be at the same spot and was related to the Agarathos Monastery. Today, only the church and the rain water reservoir (sarnitsi) remain, while the cells have been destroyed over time. The church is located on a hill, within a region with thick vegetation and a breathtaking view. The only entrance to the church is on the west side and it bears a Venetian aedicule with sawtooth wave jags. On the lintel, there are two spirals, framing a flower. The church is thought to have been built in the early 15th century, based on the aedicule and the wall painting. The iconostasis belongs to the Late Renaissance, is built-in and decorated with contemporary portable icons of the Annunciation and St. George.

On the quadrant of the apse, there is the portrait of Christ Pantocrator (Almighty) and on the alcove the Co-Officiating Hierarchs. On the frieze of the east wall, there is the “Hospitality of Abraham”, on the middle zone the “Annunciation” and on the bottom one, full-size frontal Saints. On the arch of the sanctuary, depicted are scenes from the “Pentecost”, the “Communion of the Apostles”, the “Ascension of Jesus” and more scenes from the New Testament. On the north and south wall, there are two full-size frontal Saints.

On the arch of the main church, illustrations reveal scenes from the Life of St. George and the “Crucifixion”, on the north wall “St. George and the Dragon” and next to it, as well as on the south wall, full-size frontal Saints. A large part of the murals on the west side of the arch has been destroyed. On the west wall, there is the scene of the “Judgement Day”, which is divided into three zones. In the church, there are also two supporting arcs, on the intrados of which there are parapet frontal Prophets. The lowest part of the murals is run by a decorative podea (a kind of apron at the foot of an icon).
