On Sunday, 23rd of July, 2017 at 20:00 pm, there will be a presentation of the book “STAMNIOI Musical and Other Analects” at the square of Stamnoi village. The book was published by the Municipality of Hersonissos and refers to J. Dermitzakis and J. Borboudakis that played the violin in traditional Cretan songs and were born in Stamnoi village. The event is organized by the Cultural Association of Stamnoi.

The Cultural Association of Gonies Pediados organizes a traditional food Festival on Sunday 23rd of July. There will be dishes and goodies from all the village houses and everyone will have the chance to taste the food that only the housewives of Gonies know how to cook. Adreas Manolarakis will host the event.

On Sunday 23rd July, 2017, the Theater Group of the Cultural Association Agios Ioannis will present us the theatrical performance Hotel at Anopolis Square. They will present us 9 daily stories from a hotel, where everything can happen and everyone can pass and all these in combination with a staff on the verge of dissolution and a manager on the verge of mental breakdown. Directed by the inventive and amazing Domenico Tavernarakis and written by Domenico Tavernarakis, Elena Anastasiadou and Nektarios Chervakis.
