The Municipality of Hersonissos hosts for free the cultural event concerning the theatrical play “The Story of A Seagull and The Cat Who Taught Her To Fly”, based on the book of Luis Sepúlveda, on Wednesday 15th of November, 2017, at 19:30, at the Cultural Center at Hersonissos Port (11, Filikis Etairias Str on 2nd floor).

Just before the theatrical play (18:00-19:00), an experiential seminar will take place focusing on the theatrical play in order for the attendants to understand the messages that the play conveys. The theatrical play is directed by Eirini Koutsaki.

The play is organized by the Social Welfare Directorate- Region of Crete. The entrance is free ( in Greek without translation ).

The Municipality of Heraklion organizes the first Festival of Mediterranean Cinema 15th to 24th November 2017.

In the framework of the festival, the Municipality of Heraklion aims to present some selected films every year from a Mediterranean country. This year, the films have been selected by Israel with the courtesy of the Israeli Embassy’s Educational Department.

This year’s festival will be held from 15 to 24 November at the Cultural Center of Heraklion.
