A single-nave, barrel vaulted church that dates back to the mid-14th century. The church is fully painted and the murals are probably contemporary to the church itself.

On the quadrant of the apse, there is the depiction of Theotokos (Mother of God) together with the Archangels Gabriel and Michael, while on the lower part of the alcove there are only a few fragments left, illustrating probably the Co-Officiating Hierarchs. On the frieze of the east wall, discernible are the “Hospitality of Abraham”, the “Annunciation” and two frontal Saints. On the part of the arch that surmounts the sanctuary, there are scenes from the “Birth of Jesus”, the “Candlemas”, the “Ascension of Jesus” and the “Raising of Lazarus”.

On the north and south walls, there are images of full-size frontal Saints. On the arch of the main nave, there are paintings with the scenes of the “Baptism” and the “Entry into Jerusalem”. A modern low iconostasis separates the main nave from the sanctuary. There are two entrances to the church: one on the west and the other one on the south side. The church is a genuine jewel for the area, with a vast archaeological interest.
