Celebrating the 16th anniversary of the 1st Youth Game Marathon of Avdou, the Cultural Association of Avdou invites you to a unique Anniversary Game Marathon to play nonstop, have fun and stimulate your senses.

Kids and those who want to participate will have to set up their team (up to 6 members), name it, put on a hat and come to live unforgettable moments.

The 3rd basketball tournament 3×3 in Avdou is waiting for you. The level of the teams is constantly improving and the participation is the final four is a strong wish for those who will take part. The tournament will last for 2 days, thus the finalists will have the time to get rest. So, organize your team and come to show your talent (16 years +).

On Saturday, 12th of August in 2017, the Cultural Association of Anopolis organizes a Laika Night (a Greek music genre composed in Greek language in accordance with the tradition of the Greek people) with the well-known singer Antonis Makrogamvrakis and his orchestra.

The Cultural Association of Skoteino in cooperation with the Municipality of Hersonissos organizes the theatrical performance Karagiozis Captain that will be presented by Athanasiou Shadow Play on Saturday 12th of July, 2017 at 9:00 pm in the place that the Cultural Association is housed with free admission to the public.

Concerning the story of the play:

The Athanasiou Theater Company presents the performance Karagiozis Captain. It is a performance adapted from the Greek folk tale with impressive alternations of scenes. Karagiozis dreams from a young age to travel and get to know the whole world. But because he does not have money, he does not hesitate to lie and declare himself to be a captain in order for his dream to come true.

Our folk hero is inviting young and old to come and be entertained with his jokes.

On Saturday 12th of August at 10 pm to 6am, the standard Youth Night returns for one more year. Everyone, regardless of age, is invited in a special night with souvlaki, drinks and fun!

The Cultural Association of Gonies Pediados organizes a youth party full of fun and dance on Saturday 12th of August. Giannis Iordanidis will be the DJ of the event. The start time is at 10:00 pm and the entrance is free.

The standard youth party returns on Saturday, 12th of August in 2017. It is a night full of dancing, joy and music for the young people of the village. Yiannis Kayiabakis from the Family Radio 89.5 will deal with the music of the event.
