Chamber Music” with Dr Ioannis Potamousis, Jannis Georgiadis, Myrto Georgiadou, Lily Daka and Theano Sakalidou

Born out of a desire to complement Abu Dhabi’s commitment to music and arts, Pollen is a charitable venture which aims to showcase the skills and provide a platform for young aspiring musicians alongside professional musicians who are all residents of the United Arab Emirates.

In a celebration of our new friendship and collaboration with Pollen, we warmly welcome its co-founder and director, international pianist, pedagogue Dr Ioannis Potamousis. Together with the fine Greek violinist Jannis Georgiadis, soprano Myrto Georgiadou, the rising star Theano Sakalidou, pianist and vice headmistress of the Heraklion Music School Lily Daka, they present an enthralling musical treat. The programme includes the Grieg violin sonata, Brahms Hungarian dances for four hands, songs and chamber music of J.S. Bach, Manuel de Falla, J. Strauss, F. Schubert and F. Chopin, which promises to have us pinned to our seats!

Hosted at Panagiotakis Garden Theatre in Episkopi Pediados.
